The Woodlands TX. If you are looking for healthy mediterranean cuisine in a casual atmosphere, head on over to Lama Mediterranean cuisine on Research Forest. This order-at-the-counter casual restaurant supplies the healthy goods with servings so large that to go containers are always at the counter. It is great for a large group where everyone likes something a little different. No one will leave disappointed. My favorite is the lamb shank. I love a good lamb shank and good ones are difficult to find in the US. Lama’s is cooked and spiced perfectly with no gamey taste at all. It is fall off the bone tender and melts in your mouth. It is served with carrots, potatoes, rice, salad, and pita bread. My husband is a fan of the Lama Meat Platter and the name says it all – chicken, beef and gyros piled high and served with rice, salad, and bread. Vegetarians are always happy here with the many vegetarian dishes. The vegetarian combination plate has falafel, grape leaves, hummus, baba ganouge, tabouli salad and a greek salad. The mediterranean pizza with halloumi cheese is a great starter to share. For dessert, the baklava is fresh and tasty and exceeds my expectations every time.

The Woodlands TX Northshore Park

THE WOODLANDS TX – The new schedule of concerts and events for Concert in the Park for 2015 is now set. In addition to free weekly musical acts, certain events will be held in conjunction with the concerts on some occasions.

Admission to these events is free, and blankets, lawn chairs, pets and coolers are permitted. These seasonal events are good for the whole family and take place at Northshore Park at 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive, 77381.

A wide variety of eclectic musical acts are included in this year’s line-up, including:

Held in conjunction with these musical acts are a variety of events, many of which have limited onsite supplies and spaces. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early and visit The Woodlands TX Township tent to sign up, and all these free events are appropriate for all ages:

The Woodlands TX Hughes Landing. Truluck’s and Starbucks will join an assortment of other popular food and beverage coming to Hughes Landing, a 66-acre mixed-use development in The Woodlands. Truluck’s will be located in Restaurant Row in Hughes Landing while Starbucks will be located on the retail level of One Lakes Edge – the first 390-unit luxury development in Hughes Landing.

Situated along Lake Woodlands, Hughes Landing is a premier “lifestyle intersection” which features a mixture of upscale eateries; popular retailers, including Whole Foods Market®; entertainment venues; up to 800 multifamily residences, including One Lakes Edge opening in April; multiple Class A office space with additional development underway on Three Hughes Landing expected to be complete in November; and a full-service Embassy Suites for business and leisure travelers to open in late 2015.

Truluck’s plans to begin construction on its 10,000 square-foot space in spring 2015 with an expected completion date in the fall of 2015. Once open, the restaurant will offer fresh seafood, including crab from around the globe, flavorful steaks and an expansive wine selection.
“We are honored to bring the Truluck’s experience to The Woodlands,” said David Tripoli, Truluck’s Operating Partner and Director of Marketing. “Truluck’s works hard to bring customers the best tasting, sustainable products that make sense for the plate, palate and planet.”

Starbuck’s 1,820 square-foot location is expected to open in March and will provide area tenants and visitors with the brand’s signature selection of coffee, teas and snacks.

Truluck’s and Starbucks add to the growing number of well-respected dining establishments coming to Restaurant Row in Hughes Landing. Eateries to open in spring/summer 2015 include Del Frisco’s Grille, an 8,000-square-foot restaurant which will offer modern American cuisine; Escalante’s Fine Tex-Mex and Tequila, featuring “made from scratch” Tex-Mex cuisine; California Pizza Kitchen serving a variety of California-style dishes including hearth-baked pizzas; and Local Pour, a gastropub with nightly entertainment.

Four homebuilding companies have contracted to purchase all 400 lots in the new neighborhood including David Weekley Homes, 137 lots, Coventry Homes, a division of McGuyer Homebuilders, Inc., 136 lots (homes priced from the $400’s and up); Palmetto Homes, 84 lots (homes priced from the $270’s and up); and J. Kyle Homes, LLC, 43 lots (homes priced from the $400’s and up).

Liberty Branch is a traditional neighborhood design (TND) development, a complete neighborhood built upon traditional town planning principles. A TND includes a range of housing types, a network of well-connected, tree-lined streets, and public spaces within walking distance of schools, shopping, dining and recreation.

Liberty Branch is within close proximity to Timber Creek K-6 Elementary School, part of the Tomball ISD, and the new Creekside Park Village Center which will feature a pedestrian and family-friendly village green with a sprayground, restaurant, shops and services.
