The Woodlands TX. Want to take a trip to Paris without ever leaving The Woodlands? Levure Bakery is one of my new favorite restaurants in The Woodlands. They are only open for lunch and breakfast, but if they are ever open for dinner, they will compete with some of the best restaurants in the area. Located in Creekside, they really have that authentic French cafe feel. For breakfast they have several omelets, bacon, crispy potatoes, pancakes, healthy granola and yogurt, a croque madame and a croque monsieur. But seriously folks, while all that is excellent, stock up on the divine croissants, pain au chocolate, and whatever else they have in the pastry case. Their pastries rock! I always seem to leave with many pastries to go. The omelettes are amazing and served with a side salad and a piece of toast and preserves. The seasonal veggie omelet is chock full of spinach, red bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms. Their coffee is excellent and they have espresso drinks as well. For lunch they have soups, salads, tartines, pastas, and grilled sandwiches. In true French style, they also serve wine and beer and I cannot resist pretending I’m in Paris on vacation and therefore must have a glass of wine with my lunch! The adult grilled cheese is outstanding. This isn’t your mothers grilled cheese sandwich, but your mother will want to order it every time. The brie, apricot, and ham sandwich is also an excellent choice. They’ve had one pop up dinner recently and I”m hoping they were testing the waters to open at night! A girl can only hope.

An H-E-B grocery store, Walgreens drug store, several banks and Primrose School have signed on to be part of Creekside Park Village Center. Liberty Branch will also include two parks – Liberty Square Park and Rockwell Square Park. Both parks feature unique and nostalgic design elements that harken back to simpler times such as a town square in Liberty Square Park and a pavilion modeled after a one-room schoolhouse in Rockwell Square Park.
