The Woodlands Millennium Waterway Luxury Apartments

    Post Category: Community,Real Estate,Town Center — Michele Flory @ 8:34 am

    The Woodlands Town Center
Leasing is now underway at The Millennium Waterway Ave, a new 393-unit luxury urban apartment community in The Waterway Square District of The Woodlands Town Center. The apartments are being developed by a partnership of The Woodlands Development Company (TWDC) and The Dinerstein Companies of Houston.

The Millennium Waterway Ave is Houston’s first LEED Certified Silver multifamily property, and one of the first in the country. Many green features and amenities have been incorporated into the design such as an on-site renewable energy source through solar panels on the roof; preferred parking for low emitting and fuel efficient vehicles; water use reduction; optimized energy performance; reduced light pollution and improved indoor air quality.

“Green” education for staff and residents, as well as “green friendly” maintenance procedures and on-site recycling programs will enhance the benefits of living green at The Millennium Waterway Ave. The location in The Waterway Square District also affords residents the opportunity to take advantage of public transportation including trolleys and water taxis that operate along The Woodlands Waterway®.

One, two and three-bedroom apartments are available for lease, featuring a modern stylistic feel with 10 – 11-foot ceilings; art deco lighting; stained concrete, wood and carpet flooring options; and stunning, modern kitchens. Kitchens feature CleanSteel™ side-by-side refrigerators, black pearl countertops, contemporary blonde cabinets, under cabinet lighting and gas ranges. Each apartment includes a washer and dryer, ceiling fans in every bedroom, patios and balconies, and European inspired bathrooms. Several plans include studies. Rents range from $1,145 - $2,400 without premiums. Introductory specials are being offered. Some apartments will be ready for occupancy in early June, and the project should be completed by the end of September.

Amenities, including The Urban Oasis, featuring a pool, spa and summer kitchen for entertaining; a two-story, 24-hour fitness center with spinning bikes; and a clubhouse for social gatherings, should be completed by mid-May. The pool will be enhanced with a unique tile treatment created by renowned Houston artist, Dixie Friend Gay.

The apartments are wrapped around a parking structure, providing 613 parking spaces for residents, in addition to 21 surface parking spaces. A pet park is also located on the property.

The 348,344-square-foot project is bordered by Timberloch Place to the north, Woodlands Parkway to the south, Six Pines Drive to the west and Waterway Avenue to the east. A temporary leasing office is now open on the east (Waterway Avenue) side. The hours are 9 am – 6 pm Monday through Friday, 10 am – 5 pm on Saturday, and 1 -5 pm on Sunday.
