The Village of Creekside Park encompasses vast areas of parklands, totaling 1,850 acres including the 1,700-acre George Mitchell Nature Preserve, named in honor of The Woodlands’ founder George Mitchell; the 20-acre Fleming Park including the Rob Fleming Aquatic Center, named for the late Rob Fleming, Texas Parks and Wildlife naturalist and artist; and 72-acre Lake Paloma, a scenic waterway through the center of the village.

The first school, Creekside Forest Elementary, is an elementary campus serving students in grades K-6 that opened for the 2009-2010 school year.
