    The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival

    The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival will be celebrating its fifth year April 10-11, 2010. Approximately 215 fine arts and crafts artists exhibit in this juried show along The Woodlands Waterway in The Woodlands Town Center.

    Already ranked among the top 150 art festivals in the country, The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival provides more than $20,000 in scholarships to high school students each year. Charity Partners who provide volunteers for the Festival receive a portion of the net proceeds.

    More than 16,000 people visited the festival in 2009. Children 12 and under are admitted free and enjoy hands-on art activities provided by The Woodlands Art League and The Woodlands Children’s Museum.

    The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is a 501(c) 3 organization. For more information, visit www.woodlandsartsfestival.com.

    The Woodlands 2009 Real Estate Sales By Price Range

    Residential real estate in The Woodlands enjoyed a good year. The median sales price in our market for 2009 was $265,000, selling at 97% of list price, and days on market was 62. The median year built was 1999 while the average year built was 1997.
