The YMCA Kicks Off Summer with a Free Community Open House & Pool Party

The last day of school is June 4th and the Montgomery County YMCAs want to celebrate with the whole community by hosting an open house and pool party on Saturday, May 30th, 3:00 – 5:00pm. The event is part of YMCA Cool Days, presented by Reliant Energy, and is free and open to the public.

YMCA Cool Days is the umbrella theme for all of the YMCA’s summer programs and activities occurring from now until Labor Day.

With the economy forcing many people to watch their wallets or not take that long vacation this year, your local YMCA is offering the free open house and a host of other summer activities that won’t break the family budget. In addition, the YMCA is having a Pre-Summer Membership Promotion through May 31st – Pay No Joining Fee. As a Family Member, you also save on monthly program fees too for each child! Choose the YMCA as your family’s summer destination of fun!

And as part of YMCA Cool Days, registration for programs like summer day camp, resident camp, swim lessons and youth sports is already underway. Most summer sessions begin June 8th!

The YMCA Cool Days open house and pool party is Saturday, May 30th from 3:00 – 5:00pm at your local YMCA in Montgomery County including Conroe Family YMCA and both South Montgomery County YMCAs in The Woodlands.

Call the Conroe YMCA, 936-441-9622 or the South Montgomery County YMCA, 281-367-9622 for more information, to register for YMCA programs or to learn about other YMCA Cool Days events that specifically benefit YMCA members. You may also log on to www.YMCACoolDays.org.
