We officially honor good ol' St. Patrick on Tuesday, March 17, but Goose's Acre, the official Irish pub of The Woodlands, is celebrating throughout the weekend to lead up to this special day.
On Thursday, March 12, enjoy the third annual Sexy Kilt Contest. Both men and women are welcome. Contact the restaurant to sign up.
On Friday, March 13, and Saturday, March 14, Goose's Acre will host some great rock music. Irish rock band The Ruse will take the stage on Friday, and the Kris Harper Band will be there Saturday. Both shows start at 10 p.m., and various promo girls will be all over both nights.
At the third annual St. Baldrick's Day party, on Sunday, March 15, you can shave your head for charity! If that's a little much, simply donate a little money for one of the brace souls. Find out more at .
It all culminates on Monday, March 16, with an Irish Whiskey Dinner. Enjoy a selection of five Irish whiskeys accompanied by a four-course meal created by Goose's Acre chef David Medina. Space is limited, so make reservations. Dinner is $45/person.
