The Montgomery County Hispanic Chamber is hosting its 5th Annual Fiesta Universal, which showcases the Latin culture on Friday, May 9th, from 4 – 9pm at Town Green Park across from Market Street.

Thousands are expected to celebrate Fiesta Universal with authentic food, art, and music throughout the evening. Due to the popularity of this festival, it is has moved from Market Street to Town Green Park, which is located on The Woodlands Waterway right behind the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion and directly across from the HEB at Market Street.

The entertainment this year will include Walter Suhr and Mango Punch, Mariachi Imperial, an authentic Aztec performance by Aztec Indian Troupe Cemanahuac, a Mariachi solo performance by Spring, Texas resident Ms. Mayra Bazan, a very special and brief performance by Up with People, and the evening will be kicked off by Ms Sophia Mendez singing our National Anthem.

The event is FREE to the public. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
Our featured art piece this year is a creation by Mexican Artist Pedro Guiterzzamora. This years piece, a folk art piece, has a colorful Mariachi on a beautiful horse. There will be posters of the piece for sale the night of the event.

For more information on MCHC or the Fiesta Universal celebration, visit MCHC’s website at www.mchchamber.org or contact them at 281-397-2244.
