Chesmar Homes, a new Houston-based homebuilding company, recently made its debut into The Woodlands' single-family home neighborhood of Star Ridge in the Village of Sterling Ridge. Chesmar Homes is the brainchild of real estate entrepreneur Don Klein, former president of Lennar Corporation in Houston. Klein worked with the Lennar Corporation for 10 years. Prior to that, he was president of the Houston division of Ryland Homes.
Priced from $155,990 and up, Chesmar presents one- and two-story homes in Star Ridge, ranging in size from approximately 1,725 to 2,629 square feet. The interior of these homes include ceramic tile flooring in the foyer, kitchen, breakfast room, bathrooms and laundry room. An appliance package is also included with the residence featuring a gas range, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, washer and dryer. The exteriors include full sod in front and back yards, landscaped front yard, fully fenced rear yard and covered rear patio in most plans.
